Text Box: Making the Most of Conferences  Parent-Teacher Conferences offer teachers and parents the chance to consider new ideas and suggestions for helping children learn.  A special video about conferences will be shown in the Caldwell library on Tuesday, October 25 in English and Thursday, October 27 in Spanish at 7:50 a.m. This video is about 12 minutes long and has many helpful hints for parents. If these times are not convenient for you,  stop by the Parent Resource Room to arrange a viewing.  The English and Spanish versions of the  video will also air on Channel 20 from October 7 through October 23.

Text Box: Parent Teacher Conferences November 02 - 04, 2005  Parent Teacher Conferences will be held on Wednesday, November 2; Thursday, November 3 and Friday, November 4. Conference notes were sent home this week. Please sign and return your note as soon as it is received. Conferences will meet in the gym and will begin at 1:00 P.M. On these days school will dismiss at 12:20 P.M. Please be sure that your student is picked up on time.

Text Box: Red Ribbon Week     October 24-31, 2005  Caldwell will be celebrating our commitment to a safe and drug free life with activities on each day.  Monday, 10/24/05 is “Drugs Make Me See Red Day”- students wear red. Tuesday, 10/25/05 is “Sock It To Drugs Day” - students wear crazy socks. Wednesday, 10/26/05 is “Turn Your Back on Drugs” - students may wear shirts backwards. Thursday, 10/26/05 is “Don’t Let Drugs Turn You Inside Out Day” - students wear shirts inside out. Monday, 10/31/05 is “Living Drug-Free Is No Sweat Day” - students wear sweat clothes to school.   Families are invited to the Caldwell gym on Monday, October 31 at 8:05 a.m. for our Red Ribbon Assembly. Caldwell’s  fifth grade classes will  perform their versions of songs to help stay drug free.
